Did you know?

  • Potbelly pigs can live up to 20 years.

  • They’re incredibly smart - as intelligent as dogs!

  • Pigs are actually CLEAN animals and love having a cozy nap spot.

  • They communicate with grunts and squeals, each with a different meaning.

  • Their favorite past-time: eating, exploring, and belly rubs.

SADLY — Many people adopt piglets thinking they’ll stay small, but adults can weigh 100-200 pounds! After the thrill of cute piggy fades, these animals end up in a sanctuary. Don’t fall prey to the lure of a “teacup-sized” pig. They don’t exist!!

A friend of the farm rescued a female potbelly pig from animal control. Little did she know, the mama was pregnant! Out of the 6 piglets, 2 of them came to live with us at the farm - Winnie and Pooh!
